Matt Landis is a well known name when it comes to Microsoft Lync. He is a Lync MVP which is a great achievement in itself. He maintains a very informative blog at http://windowspbx.blogspot.com/, and best of all, as I found out not too long ago, he is actually in our backyard, in Lancaster!

With his very busy schedule, it is tough to ask for his time, but when I brought it up, he was very excited and we’re happy that he was able to carve out time for us. Oh and if you are curious, he will be discussing Lync and Skype integration which was recently announced by Microsoft.

Let’s make the best of this meeting and show our support for Matt’s generous offer to spend time with us. Networking, knowledge sharing and food/giveaways will top the meeting off. Bring your friends, bring one, bring all.

Spring weather is upon us and it’s easy to lose track of time enjoying it. While we had to delay this month’s meeting for a week, I assure you it was due to accomodate rigorous travel schedule and not the good weather we had recently!

We are very happy to host our guest speaker – Brian Day.

Brian Day is a Program Manager on the Exchange Customer Adoption Team within the Exchange Server product group. Brian spends his time helping educate internal Microsoft resources, speaking at internal/external events, dealing with customer escalations at the PG level, and aids in the evolution of the product. If you haven’t figured our common theme yet, before joining Exchange Team, Brian was a PFE! Don’t we love our PFE friends?
